At Delta, we understand Jesus to be the senior pastor of the Church. Through the Holy Spirit He has appointed men who are called and qualified to pastor the local church as elders.

Jonathan Davis - Lead Elder circleemail circlefacebook
Pastor Jonathan and his wife, Tarah, are both originally from Illinois. Before coming to Delta in 2013, they spent a few years in Louisville, Kentucky, while Jonathan was a student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned his Master of Divinity degree in 2016.
Jonathan likes WWII history, writing with a good fountain pen, and drinking coffee. Tarah is a homeschooling mom and loves investing in the children and women of Delta. The Davises have four children: Rebekah, Jonny, Judah, and Malachi.
He serves Delta in the areas of preaching and vision.

Charles Campbell - Elder circleemail circlefacebook
Pastor Charles is married to Candi and they have three daughters: Carrie, Madeline, and Hailey. Charles is the Director of Training and Coaching for the SEND Network. His team equips trainers to train church planters for the North American Mission Board, the national missions agency of the SBC.
He serves Delta in the areas of leadership development and missions.

Brian Hubert - Elder circleemail
Brian and his wife, Amanda, have three children: Audrey, Benjamin, and Caleb. The Huberts are graduates of Illinois College in Jacksonville, and Brian also earned a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky.
He serves Delta in the areas of teaching and finance.

John Kleinschmidt - Elder circleemail
John is married to Sara and they have four children: Will, Reed, Knox, and Mae. The Kleinschmidts, also graduates of Illinois College, are Central Illinois natives. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, hunting, and watching a good football game. John's passions are for the gospel to be seen in word and deed within Delta's Community Groups, and to help people meet and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
The Scripture that he thinks on most often is Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding."
He serves in the areas of community groups.

Brady Rueter - Elder circleemail circlefacebook
Brady and his wife, Mallory, are blessed with four children: Adelai, Alistair, Jack, and Jayne. Brady owns and operates his own recording studio and is an ACBC certified biblical counselor. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in biblical counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Brady enjoys reading, coffee, tour buses, and date nights with his wife.
He serves Delta in the areas of biblical counseling, men’s ministry, and worship.
DEACONS
As the elders primarily lead with their words, the deacons at Delta Church primarily lead with their works. The deacons serve as the necessary compliment to the elders. Like the elders they too are called by the Holy Spirit to serve the local body of believers.
